This mid 19th Century building is superbly located on the edge of the renowned and elegant district of Le Marais, a few meters to the rue Ste Croix de la Bretonnerie, rue du Bourg-Tibourg, rue des Francs-Bourgeois and less than a 10 min walk from Place des Vosges. A wonderful 20 min walk will get you to Notre-Dame, crossing the prestigious architecture of that district and charming little parks. Bakeries, post office, grocery shops are all steps away from the building. there are Plenty of other fresh market shops are five minutes away (rue de Bretagne).
Transportation throughout Paris is very convenient using the metro, the closest metro station is just few yards from the apartment. (Hotel de Ville or St Paul Le Marais). The major stations such as Chatelet or Republique are just a five minutes walk away, (direct line to Champs-Elysees, Concorde, le Louvre...). Major bus lines pass just near by.
This charming apartment is a first floor duplex of about 550 sqf. It has a lot of character, having kept its original charm with nicely exposed beams while maintaining a high standard of modern comfort. The first level comprised of a living room with a sofa bed, bath room (shower), dining room and a kitchen. Steps lead to the second level which contains another bathroom and a master bedroom with exposed beam ceiling.
