Description
The universally popular Marais district couldn't be a more central location for visiting Paris. The third and fourth districts share between them the one-time aristocratic le Marais, home to a substantial number of palatial residences.
The Marais and rue des Lombards, where the apartment is located, is lively with charming caffes, restaurants, parks, designer shops in rue des Francs-Bourgeois and wonderful food stores all nearby. For visitors who wish to explore Paris by foot, the marvelous Marais includes the Place des Vosges, often considered as one of the prettiest squares in Paris, the Picasso Museum, the Carnavalet Museum, the Center Pompidou and of course the Louvre. After just a 5 minutes walk is the river Seine, crossing onto the "Ile de la Cite" to visit Notre-Dame and the "Ile Saint-Louis".
All major attractions in the center of Paris are within walking distance from the apartment, including the Latin Quarter, near Notre-Dame.
This charming, spacious apartment (600 square/foot) is very quiet as it's on the 5th floor and has a view onto a courtyard.
